Simple, Aggregate Counts Request
- The CDW-R team can provide investigators with simple count data (aggregated data e.g., the number of hospitalized patients with pneumonia in 2018) to include in a grant application or prepare an IRB protocol submission.
- Simple counts data are provided to investigators with the expectation that funding for further CDW-R services is included in proposal budgets.
- Simple counts data requests do not require IRB/ IRB approval.
- Counts fewer than six cannot be reported due to privacy concerns.

the study team provides, the better the CDW-R team can accurately estimate data extraction costs.- If you are here to submit a quote request and you are planning to secure internal BMC or BU funding, we recommend proceeding directly with submitting a formal CDW-R Data Request as this is the most efficient process when not submitting an external grant proposal. Within the Data Request Form, there is a section for Funding Information. Please choose “We are requesting a quote for services before we can supply the funding account”.
