To request a "pre-notification" account for a sponsored program, which permits expenses to post to an account prior to receipt of a fully executed agreement or Notice of Award (NOA), please complete and submit this form.








Definitions- 
Cost Reimbursement: Need to bill via invoice for expenses
Milestone: Payments are based on milestones completed on the project
Installment: Funds received in full with agreement/NOA

Conditions for pre-notification accounts

·       Departments are not allowed to hire positions from pre-notification accounts.

·       Spending on pre-notification accounts is limited to essential pre-approved costs.

·       PIs must report to RSP and Chief/Chair every two months on the status of the forthcoming notice of award/fully executed agreement and incurred expenses.
